2nd hand Starview 1 - good idea?

Hey guys, I've found a Starview 1 second hand going for ?40 incl p&p. I have vm xl package - Is this box capable of decrypting S*y Sp*rts on my feed. Thats all I'm really interested in. Should I go for it?

Firstly why go xl? Its recommended you pay basic And secondly a starview 1(or any "dodgy box" )can decrypt Sky Sports as long as nagra 3/IPTV doesnt come over to the UK, which shouldnt be soon. ?40 incl. p&p seems a good deal!
