AMIKO HD MINI HD BREAK UP

Weird problem with my amiko mini hd scans and finds hd channels BBC one hd fine no pixelation issue same with other free to air channels however the special channels break up it's not a serv?r issue it's the actual amiko
As if the transponders are week any advice as others have these boxes with no hd pixelation problems signal is in the 90 s region I know these have weak tuners but strange some work others have severe hd break up

if your sd channels are ok and just HD channels breaking up would suspect signal strength fta hd are normally ok.

Yeah the $$ channels break up bad free to air hd are fine also sd are also fine signal is above 90 % on all channels

Are you saying its only on ppv chanels or just hd ppv channels if the later,I would say definitely your signal strength if box was ok original I would check all connections.

Just main sly channels breaking up bad like discovery hd history hd and other hd ones weird tho ask sky 1 hd is fine

I had the same problem on a friends quad was the signal strength but without seeing it would not say for certain.


was it ok before or have you just set it up.

Brand new box set up first time then problems since then

If you can take it to a m8's house try it there is my advice see if you get the channels any better I still would say signal strength and if not go on from there as a friend has got the same problem and it varies throughout the day.

yet have heard many have the same problem over the last week so might be coming to an end for some box's.

Tried at another house same problem me thinks this is just a poor box going to change it for a q5 as they are meant to be much better on the hd channels

Can't be any worse than an amiko mini also got a gigablue quad on order so that will do me fine

Quad is a great box cannot fault it TBH a lot more versatile and easy to use, I gave my amiko mini to my son although it was working ok
