    vm on blade combo

    hi all i have bought my self a blade combo box i have done a scan im picking up around 280 chanels im missing chanels like sky sports 5hd bt sport 2 hd and a few others im using 666.750 any ideas how to resolve this thank you

    Never used the new blade combo 8000 just curious did you patch the receiver with the 9991 firmware and if so could you either post a non forum link to where you got it from or upload to the thread for the benefit of other members.

    Answer to your question is there no full scan option or even blind scan for the DVB-C/T/T2 tuner in the menu anywhere

      hi pal i do have the 9991 firmware it is on my usb stick in work i will upload it tomorrow iv done all the scans u can fink of on the box is there anywere with a list of transponders for chanels on cable so i can do them manual im in manchester cheers

        That would depend on the format of the channel database that the Blade stores them in, I would imagine it still follows the original 7000 combo format and stores them in .CNDF format if so then you could use NDF Editor to try and sort or add to your current list.

        Clarke Tech editor which is a superior editor cannot do the Cable/Terrestrial side it just hangs the program, Are there no way of you entering a service ID code as there are different ones for the manchester area

          im not to fussed about them bein in order i just wont the full selection of the sports dont no if thats poss to get hold of the tps

            do you know your net id for your area as this will scan in all available channels that is if the blade can work from a net id
