    what box

hello im looking for a cable box with a good epg and will work with a eye in another room. i have had a look
at the amiko hd mini but epg is poor and also the the sab titan 3 and the q5 but all have different issues.
now i want it at cheap as possible but i dont mind paying for what i require.so any info or experience on the certain box
    would be appreciated.

I am sure there are a number of receivers for different budget that would fit the bill, Unfortunately the RF2 Powered output aka official $ly Box is absent on every 3rd party receiver.

if you want/need the Magic eye capability then the Triax tri - link will do this for you at roughly ?40 so you may want to budget that in when looking for a new receiver

I would say for the money the Zgemma H1 combo is very good at roughly ?85 so you have both cable and sat. runs openATV openVIX PLI3-4 all the plugins etc....... the nearest combo after that is getting on for double the amount ...open source that is

just ad a look at the Zgemma H1 combo loncell it looks like a very good box for the price and its just what im looking for
and with it being a enigma2 box then theres plenty of support for it just hope it does what it says on the tin.
digicon the cost is not a real issue as i no u get wot u pay for at the end of the day im just trying to keep it as cheap as
possible for wot the person wants ie a good epg and eye set up.most of my work is with the libertyview boxes.so its all a good learnining
        curb for me thanks.

In the same boat but willing to spend a bit more, looking at vu zero/solo, blade 5000/8000 combo but no previous experience of either. Do these have changeable tuners (vermin may cut me off when I leave!) and does the zero record to usb? I think global or slx do a powered magic eye under ?25 which I may need if I go for one sat box only.

There's better , don't get me wrong but for the coin ? you won't get a better box at this moment in time. Mine runs fine and using both sat and cable I can record sat sat and watch cable. if one goes down watch the other. runs TSMedia KodiDirect what more do you want. I have seen a UK company selling them for ?77.99 delivered.

I can't say were , google should find it

one word of caution about vix image as they dont support this box and they call this box a clone, other makers do support with no problems.

Can this do iptv as well such as a mag250 box? I am guessing if using with UK TV. It will be sd only for sat and hd will be available for cable depending on sub?
