Can't install tspanel says bad number is in there when I try to remove it but it's not in plugins menu so I can start it never had a problem with it in vix operate is new to me stuck help please

What box are you trying to install it on as maybe another option is to use the XBMC/Kodi plugin which is far superior

Sorry about that got confused you wrote TSpanel i mixed it up with TSmedia apologies.

anyway do a google search for this 'ATV-softcam-feed-mipsel_1.0_all.ipk'

And install like you would any other .ipk restart your image and you should have cams available from the download plugin section

Open atv 4.2 though is crashing a lot mainly from changing channels the spinner just spins any ideas got it set up for cable and satellite channels but randomly crashing and sticking on spinner can only reboot to get back to normal

HMMMM! strange personally i am using the Beta OpenATV 4.3 image on My gigablue quad+ with bare minimal install as in i just have the Cam installer .ipk, Vhannibals 1.2 Channel list updater and Autobouquets setup for cable, Crossepg. I have nothing else installed and mine does not miss a heartbeat and i generally apply software updates every few days.

Just a quick question is your Solo2 an original or a Clone

I think you might have to do a complete new re-flash of the image as you said previously that you attempted to install TSpanel which may now have corrupted the original working image

Digicon is likely to be spot on with the tspanel theory. Installing that onto any pli based image or even vix which i think is now miles away from it's roots will seriously screw with the image base files. Sometimes it's ok for a while but things soon start to go wrong. I still have openatv 4.2 on quad+ from donkeys ages ago with tsmedia, ondemand, dreamplex and a few other plugins. It doesn't miss a beat either so haven't bothered to fix what isn't broken. I'm plenty capable of breaking many other things so one less thing to fix is a bonus.

Never used open atv till now always used vix which has always been reliable only changed to open atv as it supports my cable tuner its still crashing have re installed image again but still crashes mainly when I change channel it just gets stuck in the spinning icon and dies nothing else have to switch off and on again any suggestions as this image does what I need but can't be doing with the constant switching off and on again

Have you done a Complete new install of the image even downloading the latest build from today say and then re-flash the receiver and do not put any previous saved backup settings on the newly flashed image. Always better to start from new and work up

Tried a re flash still the same result it'd as if the box can't cope with the image and channel changing it just locks up and I have to re boot it may have to go back to vix which doesn't support my dvb usb tuner
