    VU+ Solo2 as DVB-C

    Hi,

I have got VU+ Solo2, which is 2 x DVB-S2. Is there a way I can use it as DVB-C? I mean an adaptor, coverter, any modification, usb etc?

    Thanks for reading and replying,
    Cheers!

was it easy to setup on cable and was it more than plug and play? think many might go this route.

Yea they will they are not box dependant more image dependant as in as long as the drivers are included in the image you are using then there should be no problem

Hi, guys [dont want to hijack the thread]...
Is the above tuner compatible with the latest VIX images? I could not find a definitive answer to this over on WOS. In my opinion they seem to plug the more expensive Sundtek tuner. However if this is fully compatible with VIX images[ my fave image atm] , then it seems a fair deal

I had vix installed latest version it had the driver in the image but it never worked I'm currently on open atv and that had the same driver as vix and it works spot on however it does make my vu solo 2 crash randomly I've heard there should be a driver update soon to fix this issue

Ah, ok..... I think I'll hold fire on it atm. Sundtek tuner seems a bit steep in price compared to this
