local knowledge needed is do you know which encryption you are on? And Jackpot, you say n2 is not hacked in Malta? How can this be so when I thought if n2 was going to be hacked anywhere, it would be hacked everywhere?

Without stepping outside of the realms of the forum rules, (if I do I will be slapped ) You need to get info from the card they use.

I am not saying try to dump the card straight off. If he/she can post as much info about any serial numbers on the card it would be a start and at least then it can be ascertained if it is opened already or not. Posting a pic would help but I do not think that would be advisable just yet.

An encryption being hacked doesnt necessarily mean that all roms have been cracked. NDS isnt hacked wide open but 1rom of their encryption is cracked. Thats 1 of the multiple roms viasat on 5e use. Next time please be sure.
