HELP!!
im new to all of this and i was wondering if someone might help me decide on what box to get, how to flash the box and after i flash the box is there anything else i have to do??

Well given that there are various boxes with various methods of flashing your query is a little vague, but here goes:

I would recommend the eurovox ex7000hd for a beginner. It has its faults but it's the easiest to flash, you just put a usb pendrive with the software on it (downloadable from this site) switch the box on and the the box does the rest automatically. It's a good quality picture and you get the added bonus of the HD channels.Comment
