Error rebooting root Giga blue quad

Hi anyone throw some light on why when I try and flash my giga blue quad plus using online flash I keep getting Error re-booting root and freezes at this point this started when I decided to update my open atv 4.2 image to the latest build and all my settings changed and the ------ you know what was installed would not go active in the end decided to re-flash now I keep getting the above error.
    thanks.

Openatv is at 5.0 now and may need to be flashed from usb instead of online update and could be the reason that it won't reload root files due to python version mismatch. Or I could be talking rubbish and you've just had a bad flash.

Thanks for the reply tried that will not usb flash done factory reset cannot get out just shows flash screen and freezes can't seem to re-flash any ideas appreciated as totally stuck at present .
solved tried 5 different usb sticks every time I tried to flash would not but when placed back in computer the stick was corrupt all 5 different usb sticks and had to reformat eventually found one of my older usb sticks formatted it then re- flashed it worked so it pays to pay for the decent usb's.

what a pleb am I thanks for your help m8 any way.

I always use kingston or SanDisk for use in boxes ranging from vu clones to quad plus including everything inbetween and have never had one fail to flash or refuse the usb stick (something vu clones are supposed to be very picky about). Nowadays they are only only a fiver or so for 16gb. Plenty big enough for epg, picons, and timeshift leaving hdd for recording

First time it's happened to me going out to buy some decent kingston sticks now as that's the only one that would flash at least I won't make that mistake again.
