    digivox xl Channel names

    hi - can anybody help - had to do scan on my digivox xl earlier today all channels have come up as tv123 etc etc any ideas how to get the proper channel names?..

    I think you'll find that this happens when you do a scan and don't have it decrypting. If it's new, or you have done a factory reset and have not activated the decrption option (On our different box we have to type in 4 digit pass, then ensure the option to decrypt is on before scanning) then you will get just numbers. I had this problem on a Digivox. When having done it again after starting decrypting, it all works fine.

    Give that a try.

        Menu -> System Info -> 1004 -> Key EMU switch to ON.

        As for the scanning of channels which you then end up with the TV??? as channels issue. I've also tried switching on the EMU before scanning. Don't forget to FACTORY DEFAULT 1st though before you rescan.

        If even after switchin on EMU you still get the channels picked up as TV??? then what I also do is scan another provider. Which I know wouldn't find nothing. Then once it reports 0 Channels found. I scan my proper provider.

          all sorted now - i had got the emu on just had to scan the channels a couple of time and they all came back with the correct name,
