fast picture on cable tv help needed please

    Hello all,
I am watching cable tv on starview. My problem is that the picture is coming on my tv a little too fast e.g. watching a football game the players are running on the pitch at 1.5 x their speed. its like their superhuman
The sound is no problem and there is no break up in picture quality except that its just a little grainy i.e. not sharp as it would be on sky lets say.
Any ideas guys on how i can solve this problem?

    (Not using any splitters)

            thats funny

hi thats funny about the bet.
Its strange. The football match will finish the same time as anywhere else because i listen to it on the radio dab i have. I mean i can put up with but it makes ronaldo look like ussain bolt when he is running

Only thing I can suggest is a factory reset and rescan or a reflash but it really is a strange one!

In your user settings try changing your output to RGB

does your tv adjust the picture ratio everytime you change channel? if it does then it could be the refresh rate, see if you cab put it down to 50hz and try that

                          Mate

not at home at the moment, so cannot check on mine.

Seem to remember one of my boxes (it could be a sat one or cable!!!!) has an option to flick between PAL and NTSC.

I think I switched to NTSC once and everything looked a little jerky and fast (I guess picture having to catch signal. Was not faster but optical illusion).

Could be worth a look at that!!!
