Getting interference in the day between 8 am until 10pm them the interference goes away really weird using a usb cable tuner through a vu solo 2 and using a Zgemma upstairs interference on both also have fitted new leads and f connectors still having the same problem can't call vermin as only subscribe to there broadband only really puzzled now anyone had the same problems this is mainly on hd channels like discovery hd nat geo hd and some others sorry for the long post any ideas anyone

Sounds like a bad earth, I know its not normal practice to earth incoming vermin cable, but I have done it in the past, and it works. You can get proper earth f plug connectors. You can also look into what appliances are turning on about that time, even though it may not be in your house, a neighbour can be causing the interference.

Had a look today in the incoming feed out side there was a virgin phone line that had been cut so I wrapped this in tape slightly reduced the interference also put a konig splitter on the feed which reduced it slightly again but still interference come 10 pm tonight all interference has gone will try earth f connectors nextComment

I had a similar situation a few months ago and although I wasn't getting any interference someone else was....the fault "noise" had been traced back to my house. I replaced all my F type screw on for compression F connectors....not had a visit since..........
So it might well be someone else causing your problem.Comment
