Help Please

Hi
A mate of mine wants a cable box that will work right out the box and I dont know which is the best to get now as not got one for a while I have a euromax both red and blue which work fine but have to get one for him can anyone give me any ideas of the best to get for under ?100 and the best place to get it from.
Is the eurovox EX1000 worth getting as he wants a slimline model.

my personal choice dreambox 500c under 80 quid turn them inside out ftp them flash diffrent images google it and good luck m8

Thanks dont really want to start ftping stuff as just want to get the box and have it working right out the box long time since I FTP ed a box etc.

dont think ya can buy them new like that
all ya will get is fta channels straight from the box or else it piracy
try buying a second hand one somewhere that might already be flashed

just never ftp a dreambox and cant remember what to do to be honest could just about remember how to do my euromax etc.
Or what image to use.

You really should get learn to FTP to the box again, otherwise what will you do if you get a working one now that goes off and needs a fix in the future, do it now and write down what you have done for future reference
