    New Setup - Any Guidance?

    Hi Guys,

I have VM TV, now what I want to do is watch it on 2 different TVs that work independently from eachother, i.e. two different channels at the same time. I also want to replece my Samsung box as it keeps playing up, so I am going with the Starview 4.

Here is my proposed shopping list:
    2 x Starview 4 My Cable Box-Cable TV Boxes-Starview Boxes-Starview 4 The Box Super USB PVR

1 x 2 way splitter 2 Way Splitter + 5 free F Connectors for Cable TV on eBay (end time 11-Oct-09 20:48:04 BST)

I also need some cable, which one do I need? It needs to be about 10m long.
    Will this do? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10m-F-Type-Con...d=p3286.c0.m14

Is there anything else I have missed?

    Looking to order tomorrow.

    Thanks for any help,

    Irfan

      Everthink ok.
Personally I would buy the lot from My cable box.
Some ebay stuff not too good quality although I am not saying what you have chosen is not good quality

Hmm I cannot get everything from MyCableBox though, plus the prices seem inflated, but maybe that is where the quality lies..

My Cable Box-Cable TV Boxes-Starview Boxes-Starview 4 The Box Super USB PVR

            Remeasured, 5m will be enough
My Cable Box-Cables & Accessories-5M Cable with Connectors

My Cable Box-Cables & Accessories-3 Way Cable Splitter Kit
Think that one will be more future proof..

            What do you think?

Yep you got it sorted Irfan.

Just make sure to scan both without the splitter first. Thought I'd let you know now to save you any hassle later.

Sorry for late reply m8. I've only ever used eurovox m8 and no problems on that. I leave my box off overnight every night and the channels are still there in the morning. I'm sure all the boxes will be ok to switch off as they save all the channel data
