anyone out there tell me the basic difference between these two boxes?

H1 has 256mb ram and dvb-c/t tuner and H2 has 512mb ram with dvb-c/t/t2 (terrestrial ariel HD channels) the h1 can only recieve sd channels from a terrestrial ariel

Just to correct HH on 1 minor point the Zgemma H1 is just a DVB-C (Cable Only) Tuner i made the same mistake myself some time back when the specs for the box came out, Airdigital had said the H1 was Cable and Freeview ready tuner but sadly it is not it is just Cable only on tuner B.

Also unsure about the Nand Flash specification as well as i know some early models of the H2 slipped through with 512mb Nand flash as well as 512mb Ram but always assumed from reports elsewhere that they changed spec back to 256mb Nandflash for both the H1 and H2
