I know I sound stupid, but I am doing some research before I buy a box, I have cable (VM), yet a bit confused when I see tuner boxes with the DVB-C connection. My incoming cable connection is similar to a satellite connector (screw thread type), yet all the receiver boxes I've looked at with DVB-C connections look like the old aerial (RF type) How do I link the two?

I've spent the last few days trying to find out, within minutes of me posting my question I find the answer, looks like there is just a straight adapter that changes the screw type on one end to the rf connector on the other! -
you need an 'F' connector IEC male adaptor check the bay for prices probably around ?1.50 with postage
