    Chorus MMDS

    Hi Guys,

can somebody lend a bit of help to a relatively newbie to all this,

basically I have an MMDS Ariel and a Box-T but my question is do I need to pay chorus for a basic package and then use this to unscramble the pther channels or do I just need the ariel and box alone?

    Thanks a million in advance,

    Eeeny

You only need the aerial and Box-T,there is no reliance on a subscription, the signal is in the air.
    You are good to go.

youll need an 18v powersupply to power the aerial aswell.

what part of the country are you in as you will have to flash the box and enable the downconvertor than after scanning will have to enable your emu

            Hi,
            Thanks for the reply,

How do I hook up the power supply to the Ariel,

I literally just have the Mesh backing with the plastic thingy sticking out the middle, Basically your regular Chorus Ariel.

            Thanks in advance,
            Anthony

this is the power supply it looks like this

                MMDS Power*::*Terrestrial Receivers*::*Skywonder Ltd

one inlet goes to the antenna on roof and the other goes to the back of your box t

il pm ya a number for a guy in kerry that sells them and there simple hook up

this is the downconverter the cable connects to it and you go into your settings to turn it on

so back to the start your antenna is on the roof pointing at mast and the downconverter
is connected, you run the cable from the downconverter to the tv and connect it into the power supply in the inlet named ANT
then you run another cable from the power suppy (inlet called TV) to the back of your box t

connect box to tv with a scart lead

i cant help from here because i dont no how you turn the emu on the box t on but im sure someone will

I had a similar problem, make sure u are sending correct voltage to the downconverter, turns out i wasn't, and as was said that the emu is turned on.
