Time Shift on Zgemma-Star H1

Morning all,
Im trying to set up my time shift.
Im using the rear usb port.
I have tried to install a 500mg portable hard drive with folders.

And the problem I have is when I go to initialise my drive I get a question -

Do you rally want to initialise this device YES or NO

and i if I select YES all the data on the device will be lost.

I have done this once already and selected YES and I lost all information which was on the disc and when I tried to re install i couldn't find it on my lap top.

Hope this makes sense to someone .

Just FTP the data back over to the Hard drive with FTP........................Paul

Once I have selected yes to initialise my hard drive and then I try to connect to my lap top to re install folders, my hard drive can't be detected when plugged into my lap top.

Yes but ftp will pick it up on same network
Then just resend the files to the H.D
Any trouble give us a shout ...... Paul
