ZGemma issue

    ZGemma issue

    Got this box the other day, it is meant to have two tuners, Tuner A for sat and tuner B for cable, tuner B does not appear to be coming up at all, does anyone know what way this can be corrected? Image being used is VIX

      That's the thing, I can only see one tuner, the second one doesn't show up at all

        Have you got it connected to a cable feed via an F connector ...........Paul

            Try a different image mate the one you have might be corrupted

              That's the biggest problem, I have tried the USB flash, but it doesn't appear to work with the usb pen drives I have, im unsure if there is another way to do it or not.

                    Make sure it's formatted to fat 32 in Windows unzip image to root of flash drive also Zgemma can be fussy with usb you may have to try a few to get it to flash

                      Yeah I have tried 3 different usb devices but to no avail.

                        Make sure there not over 4 gb in size

                          1,Download ZGEMMA H1& ZGEMMA 2S software

                          2, Unzip it and copy the Zgemma folder to the USB Stick (pre formatted to fat32)

                          3, Plug the USB stick to the back panel USB port.

                          4, Power on,

                          5, Press the Power Key on the front panel after you see ?USB?on the display.Then the display shows ?Flash?

                          When done the box will boot up on its own. Remove usb stick once boot has completed.

                            Yep. I've done that several times. Apparently these box's are funny in relation to USB drives example is Sandisk and Kingston are apparently meant to be the best to use.

                            Is there another way to flash this box at all?

                              You may need to try a few different usb I had to use a 128 mb one on mine as no other drive would work also try different images vu boxes do the same can be fussy
