    zgemma h2h cable connection

    I have connected all the cables from the zgemma to the tv etc identical to how I had set up the kryptview previously, but there appears to be no signal on screen, the box appears to boot to 99 and switches off. Can someone pls provide assistance? Is there a cable set up guide available anywhere? Many thanks,

      As maca states e2 boxes need to be setup, there not plug and play unfortunately, tuner A is for satellite and tuner B for cable, if you not using satellite then set tuner A to 'not configured'

        Just to add, Happy_highlander posted this on another thread;
        Crossepg doesn't support cable use epgrefresh and set it to scan channel PVR_EPG. You are best to follow instructions with net id but set it to scan provider vm 6952 instead of frequency steps then configure autobouquet maker for your vermin area. Once that is done set autobouquet maker to download first daily i.e 0530 then crossepg daily at 0545 then epg refresh at 0600. Set the times to suit yourself but scan in that order at 15 min intervals to give yourself a full epg for both sat and cable.
        You'll find autobouquetmaker and epgrefresh in your Zgemma's menu-plugin-downloads, you don't need Crossepg thats for satellite, that's about as much as I can help you, as I'm not a cable user.

            Welcome to the world of E2 boxes and just think the zgemma H2H is at the lower end of the market for a few quid more you'd be blown away with what the top end of the E2 range can do

                Have a look at this its for a sat set up but will give you all the pointers you need
                This Backup Image is for the Newer H series of Zgemma Satellite receivers, it will work on the H.S and H.2s and confirmed working on the H.2H by Hadron @post #116 (requires additional setup for cable see post #119) but hasn't been tested on the H5 Openatv5.3 Backup Image with New improved Sky Skin, OTA update safe ?

                    These boxes are not plug & play.....better to read up on them before buying.....

                    All you need is the basics .....which are in the post.....the rest comes later
