There?s no way of knowing which area will be next etc,in Ireland they were using Nagra 1,2 and 3,as they changed encryption.

Point being you could get a card tomorrow and find you?re on Nagra 3 for Christmas.

Or you could get a card tomorrow and be on Nagra 1 until well in to next year.

It?s the Luck of the draw; my money would be on Leeds going first from what I have read on the forums.

The way things are done on sat by different providers is to make sure all subscribers have their card and then switch off the old encryption. This means that customers who are given a new card won't be able to use their old one once the new one is inserted however if they have a doggy box then it will continue to work until they compeletely switch off the old encryption.

I'm assuming VM will follow the same procedure.

ok so were agreed N3 is heading our way.if people honestly thnk VM will sort every customer with a card by christmas i'll show me arse at the top of town !.
they might as well get laurel and hardy and abbott and costello sort this mess out ,they'd stand a better chance. and with the good old royal mail and christmas thrown into the equation i think "the summer of 2069" should be more of a realistic target.

It will be massive m8 but the truth is out now its rom 180 N3 it will still take a while for vm to get from area to area mths ? but its no use asking for a fix for the boxes there wont be one .

Have to admit I had a chukkle one late night when I came across a site with silly examples of sh!t like this.

Tbh I am not sure how the switch over worked with the genuinely subbed boxes and the new cards in Ireland.

I know those with the eurovoxes and starviews krypyts and itgates etc experiences differed from area to area, I know most lost the premium sports and movie channels right from the off with those channels going straight to Nag3 but some down Southern Ireland remained totally unaffected in the beginning, then all channels started changing encryption one at a time on a daily basis, and it worked its way all around Ireland.

Point being I excpect it will happen similarly in the UK,those with subbed boxes probably wont notice a thing with their new cards but we will see a pattern emerge as the Nagra changes from area to area.

no body knows for sure whats going to happen, nag3, iptv even with the new cards thats being issued its not forced to be a diff encryption i will just cancel my tv package and get a sat set up, up yours vm

Nobody cracked it yet m8 dont fall for the scams that will suddenly appear claiming they have a N3 fix they will take your money and run m8 .

This was the latest rumour posted a few months ago that confirmed Nagra 3 is partialy open.

It appears that the cracking of Nagra 3 is finally making headway. The information below actually lists the channels which have been opened and give great detail of how it is being worked on. Rather than just rumors...it appears to be delivering the kind of facts we have all been waiting for. The read may prove a wee bit difficult but I am sure you will get the gist of what it is saying.
