Having viewed the posts on this thread , it's convinced me to leave things "as is" , rather than rock the boat to save a few bob .
With a phone line and basic viewing package , are you knobbling yourself , by adding broadband to your package ?
I've had 5yrs of relatively trouble free starviewing and don't want to fu*k it up !

No go ahead it will not cause any problems, more income for Vermin they should be gratefull. Just remember to put away the sv when they put it in.

If they dont they will lose all channels freeview as well when the switch is made .

I got mine a couple of weeks ago and installed it about a week later.
I have got loads more channels on the vi**n box even though i just have a basic subscription!!
Starview still working fine too and long may it last - least enough to see Villa beat Spuds next saturday!

chances are these extra channels wont last m8, what extra channels are you getting ?

On the old card I was just getting a few channels but with the new card I get channels like Dave and S*y 1, 2, etc. I think that these are all free to air but like I mentioned before I was not getting them on the old card.
I expect i will continue to get these as part of my basic subscription after the switch.
Would like to here a bit more of other Leeds peoples experience

hmmm sly 1 & 2 aint fta let us know if they stay or go m8, if u got time, sometime post a list of the extra channels u getting with the new card m8 cheers
