after doing a lot of reading, these rom 11 cards have been out on cable for ages and they have been cr*acked. you have to cr*ck/copy them whatever if you h*ck a s#bbed box

Smart cards

Just had a new virgin install in Glasgow Area and have been issued with new smart card. Put new starview 5 box on and nothing. THE END IS COMING SOON!!!!!

The starview box scans and works fine in the Hamilton area, as i said scan in Glasgow and nothing.Tried auto scan on tw and ntl no results any ideas anybody?

Glasgow isnt even the test area so its highly unlikely to be anything like a change on encryption. the board would be in meltdown if it had hit boxes in the glasgow area. it could be a signal problem in glasgow, faulty box or you have the cable inserted incorrectly have you checked that?

Not faulty signal virgins box works fine. Also no problems with correct positions of feeds

no transponders sounds like no signal at all. this sounds like a connection problem to me. are you trying a direct feed into the box ?

try factory settings (oooo)
default key
auto scan
key code on
then exit out to tv...
