Cable box cheap and cheerful

Looking for a cable box for my sons room. Something cheap and user friendly mostly used for watching sports at weekend.

Any recommendations please???

At risk of hijacking this thread, I have pretty much the same question. I've been looking at the Zgemma H2 for ?65, would this be a good choice considering it's going to be using a cable feed only?

Agreed. Great starter e2 boxes. The edision minis are worth looking at too for a bit more. Supported by Vix so can auto update and come with 2yr guarantee on WOS.

I'd recommend mutant hd500c. Great little basic box. Decent epg and autobouquets and several different e2 images available for it.
