    Recommend me a signal splitter

I have line coming into my house going to a splitter, one feed going to my router one going to my gigablue box.
Im having trouble with HD channels glitching. Problem doesnt lie with the S***** as the sports hd are perfect just having problems with movies and some irish channels.
My S***** reckons the signal mihht be to week going to the sat/cable box and causing probelms.

Does this sound right or is there something else i should look at?
Ive done a new scan so all frequencies should be ok,
Im wondering would a booster help?

    Thanks in Advance

try and get as official as you can for Cable these work well:

    Code:
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tratec-co-axial-splitter-2-way-/131769091443?hash=item1eae0cc573:g:-k0AAOSwLVZVtP3y
If you have a Gigablue Quad Plus with cable tuners then the Tuners are not great for a start off, I tested mine a while ago and while they cope well with a good signal a fringe one needs a better tuner

Could the DVB-C tuner be failing?? I dont see this could be as standard def channels work flawaless
