Friend recommends Eurovox another Dreambox. What is the difference. Any recommendations?

Would require some learning from a novice. But once you have it running. It's as sweet as.

I have used a Eurovox before and it was fairly easy to setup and use. Everyone now seems to be swaying more towards the Dreambox ( Buy DreamBox 500C,DM500C,DreamBox 500c,Dream Box 500C,Dream Box Cable,Dreambox 5 ) but what's the deal with this Kryptview? Anyone comment on these?

the dreambox 500 can be set up as a PVR by recording the content of what your watching to an external storage (ie NAS or share on home computer) this means the DM needs to be connected to a network

the dreambox 600 can have an internal hard disk so you can record, but as its a single input only you cant watch one channel and record another (someone correct me if I am wrong) think the DM 7020 is like a Sky+ box dual input,

                Dreambox 500 record

Set up several boxes on your network at home, record two channels at once to your nas, harddrive or record one and watch recorded programme, then watch as many channels as you have boxes.
