subbed vm box

hi guys i have a question. i dont know much about original boxs but i understand the have a talkback feature so seeing that i unplugged my vm box as soon as the engineer left and installed my dbox2 i was wondering would vm not find it strange that my newly installed vm box wasnt talking to them and thus they would then thinking this "****" is using a dodgy stb? or does it not work like that. thanks

I think so but many do this and apparently do not get checked.. I would just put a splitter in the cable and have it connected, its about staying under the radar mate.. Why not put it in another room, you are paying for it after all...
