Zgemma H2

Hi guys

I'm considering getting the zgemma box just need some information. First of do I need both sky and cable lines on the box for it work? Do all the HD channels work and finally what do I do once I get the box eg firmware, image etc or do I just plug and play it? I know everything about the "gift" can't talk about it

You need a vermin feed and a sly dish the HD will work yes but not through sly.

Its Enigma 2 box comes with a image pre installed or you can choose your own it's up to you really ..

So you do need both virgin and sky cable fitted on the box but HD channels run through virgin?

One cable from your dish to you box then a vermin cable to the box plus your internet cable preferbly (vermin) ..And yes to the HD side

The box has the ability to disable either the cable side or the satellite side, so you only need one or the other to recieve a picture but to get the HD channels not available on the satellite side you only need to connect a cable feed and forget the satellite feed.

Having both satellite and cable feeds will give you the ability to watch one channel record another.

If you want to upgrade from the cheap Chinese box (openbox) as I would guess from your post

These E2 system boxes are not plug & play by any means........
but they are easy to setup in you know the in's & out's

Different to load a channel list & add the bit you comment on.....and then there are the addons which are endless

Sounds frightening I know but its not......once you get the basic's

My 2 pence worth go for the Vermin side if you want the channels in HD
or the sat side with a motorized dish.....then you can choose what game you want to watch at the weekend......

Or if you really want to get the best of both worlds....like most of us have

The box will probably come with a standard image which will take a bit of setting up yourself to get it exactly as you want.

The best thing to do to get yourself set up as quickly & painlessly as possible, is to flash it with martin035's backup image:-
