    Zgemme H2H Stuck on boot

Hi guys. Been on another forum and cant get a help/answer to this so hoping a genius on here can make themself a hero

I bought a Zgemma H2H a few weeks back and after some teething troubles and help from others, got it up and running. However since the box was turned on at the weekend, its coming up with boot on the display. I dont know whats happened but after reading other forums i thought that i may have needed reflashed. Ive flashed various boxes before so this wasnt too difficult but ive flashed this thing with every different h2h firmware known to man yet after a minute or so of the FLSH appearing on the display, it goes back to boot and remains there. Ive been on this for days and im at the end of my tether with it. Since i had a similar problem flashing the box originally, can it maybe be a faulty receiver?

Hopefully I won't insult you with this answer; but have you tried original Openatv firmware from their download site

    Code:
    http://images.mynonpublic.com/openatv/nightly/index.php?open=zgemmah2h
Remember if it does install the firmware the zgemma will boot into a blank screen but you will know it's working as the countup will go to a 0-100

Also when flashing original Openatv firmware the process requires you to press the standby button when 'USB' is displayed on the front panel.

Yeah id already flashed it with both the earliest and latest versions on Zgemmas website just in case. Im not even getting as far as the 1-100 mate, it goes back to boot shortly after the flash

ETA - ive tried all of the different firmwares for the H2H on the zgemmas page

Try another USB stick Drive to flash from also make sure there's no micro SD card in the box and perhaps try booting with no internet or satellite cables attached, see if that makes a difference.

Did all that as well. 4 different usbs two of which are zgemma friendly. Theres no sd card in the slot either. Ive flashed with both internet and cables in/out

Im beginning to think its a faulty receiver

You can try and change the resolution of your tv to 720 or 1080i and see if that will cure the problem

Think that's me out. The only other thing to advise is, as it sounds like you haven't had the box long, if bought off eBay contact the seller to ask for an exchange or refund then get another.

Ive messaged the seller already. This is the second time ive had this problem with the box in the few weeks ive had it. Even if i hadve fixed the problem, i would send it back anyway. Cant keep having to flash the box every couple of weeks

If the seller doesn't reply or tries to brush you off with some kinda excuse just raise a case with eBay, a Zgemma should last longer than a few weeks.

Is there any other way to do a factory reset these boxes?

Sounds like a dodgy bootloader, you shouldn't have to update then separately as they are usually updated with the image but or wouldn't hurt to try the zgemma site to see if a latest bootloader is available then flash it in the same way you would an image but it takes a fraction of the time to flash. Then just flash a fully supported image like open atv and see where you go from there. ......Make sure it's the correct bootloader
