    Stopped receiving some channels

Hey guys...just wanted to ask...has anyone else noticed that they cannot watch some channels and a message comes up saying "you have not subscribed to this channel yet..."

If you have, what did you do i.e. did you get it sorted out?

    Thanks! You guys are great!

It might be an idea to give more information on your situation.

    Country?
    Box?
    Problem channels?
    Current firmware?

i think your problem is that you have a chipped VM box.. looks like its not been done properly hense why you dont receive all channels..

You cant talk about hacked Virgin boxes here though

see above.. who ever 'chipped' your box has not done it properly and the 'chip' no longer works.. thats why you can only see free channels

you do know there is no such thing as 'chipping' a VM box

chipping is a form of adding a microchip to a device, in essense hackng that device, to perform actions it would usually not do.

There is no such thing as chipping a cable receiver

The only modification made to the cable boxes is removal of the talkback feature.

Thats it from me as i said in the shoutbox talking about hacking VM cable equipment is not allowed..

Buy a 3rd party receiver its cheaper and easyer
