VU+ tuner - how good is it

I'm having big trouble with the weak tuner in my Zgemma H2H.

My VM Tivo is stable/strong enough to cope with my weak signal, but I'm having trouble setting my Konig 28db amp in a way that gives me glitch-free viewing on the Zgemmas (both H2H and H1).

The question is, would investing in a VU + duo give me a cable tuner with enough improvement to solve my problems?

    Any opinions please?

I doubt it, the Zgemma H1 has the superior DVB-C tuner out of both models, I dont think you would see any improvement in using a Vu+ based Tuner.

The TM range and the Edision use a very good panasonic type variety tuner which is ideal for low signal but even these could struggle

Thanks. I'm sure there's a correct setting on this Konig but after looking for it for several days I'm losing the will to live.
