i was selling a sat dreambox on ebay and it was cancelled. there reason was as followed

"Please note that it has been brought to our attention that these boxes are specifically designed to access paid channels for free, and many buyers are buying them for this illegal purposes. In working with VirginMedia and law enforcement agencies, we must remove the sale of these boxes if reported by them. We have legal agreement with Virgin to removeitems reported by them. If you see same boxes still listed, it means they have not yet been reported by Virgin."

i basically told them that whoever informed them needs educated before they label me as a potential criminal and i await ebay and virgins apoligy as it is a SATELLITE box

As a regular Fleabayer, I was amused recently that they were deleting all the EUROVOX listings -- but leaving all the STARVIEW listings alone.........

Thing is this same ebay would however allow you to buy the same box from Germany for example if you extended your searching world wide instead of just the UK. So who are they kidding.

it's good to see them admit there mistake and give a apology
but if they are this keen why are there so many
samsung 2100c and 2110c cable receivers listed on
there. when these are the boxes cable companies use

after a couple of hours they took it off

When you replied to this so called nice lady. Did you give her a break down on what she can and can't do with the box or something?

Yea, I did that for a while, after selling about 20 Eurovox REMOTES with a FREE gift, they removed the listing.
