AZBOX HD PREMIUM - Should I get one?

Hi all, Im quite intrested in an azbox. I currantly have a dbox2 and thinking of updating. Now I looked at a dreambox 800c (clone) Im just wondering if any one has any views on direction. One thing swaying to the azbox is maybe fitting 2 cable tuners so I can watch 1 and record 1 if that is possable. Can I receive the same channels on the azbox as i do with the dbox.
I look forward to the replies, Thank you

        @ Martin20009

I wouldn't buy one right now, just wait a month as there could be fundamental issues with some of the big features of this box that may not be ever sorted out (hardware constraints of the current motherboard)

Basically, there is murder going on at the moment on another forum

true dual tuner support on azbox is in doubt at the moment , I'd hold off for a while, if dual tuner is a must

as for other stuff with azbox, there is people using cable tuners successfully in it in the UK, theres a rough guide on another forum,

but this box is ace for sat dudez

I'd be carefull, its a very immature media player.

The design is simpler to the Popcorn Hour (which I also own) and it's not a patch on it so far. The difference is only software and maturity.

I have lots of issues with my present collection of 1080p+DTS films that play flawlessly on the PCH. Audio dropouts, crashing, buffer underunns & loss of A/V sync. Opensat have a lot to learn.

Don't get me wrong, this box has to potential to be fantastic, two tuners and full media unit + open linux with community support. They just need to keep to their title of Opensat. :/

Could'nt agree more find CCcam alot better now they have incorparated it in there own multicas though.
They really do need to sort out all bugs to many to mention maybe let it be open source
I also have both s and c tunners mine works ok even got them both to run through MultiCas D'ont know how though
                  a lot of reloading plugins.

I have just bought DVB T for my AZBOX and it works normally in slot 2. After a rather steep learning curve I am quite pleased with my machine

I heard that CCCam doesnt work properly on the Azbox and it cant be used to CS.
Pity as hardware wise its a great spec.
