satsid no experience at all of these boxes but wonder whether you have an option to choose "bruteforce or power" where it says "standard" and/or "automatic" where you currently have "manual"? I take it 6952 is your correct symbol rate? It could also be that you have to choose your area default frequency.

Hi m8 thanks for the reply.6952 is my correct symbol rate.Azbox sees the tuner, tuner is in slot B.Iv read it does not work in A slot.I can see the menus in slot B & mode auto & Munual.Tryed 2 scan in manual as said ,iv changed the symbol rate for my area looking for signel & found no signel.Iv test the signel on a friends Eurovox & that worked fine.Atm im @ a loss here what to do.Iv this firmware on my azbox 0.9.3686,this is the latest firmware.I wonder if i need a older Firmware???.The DVB-C tuner doing my nut in atm.Standard is for what Country, there no bruteforce or uk in the menu.in Country it has only germany & Brasil & Standard,i guess standard is for me?.Hope i hope can get some help 2 make this work.

          Tried to scan in manual!!!!!

Generally scanning in manual will only scan one frequency.

          Try scanning in Auto.

Just done a google and theres not much on these boxes.

What I did read was if the box not working do factory reset and try again.

A number of boxes will only scan on one frequency when auto scanning if they have previously been scanned manually on one freq. In this case you would have to factory reset and then auto scan.

I did a Euro a while ago that would auto scan in 3 seconds with no channels. After a factory reset the auto scan took four minutes and found all channels.

Yours seems to be locked on one transponder and scanning a frequency thats not carrying any channels.

Factory reset will not erase any software.

Satsid right heres a guy who has it working and explains how. Hope it assists you. Kudos goes to to dboxbelfast.

Been using this with MgCamd for a while now without any probs. Heres a how to:-

Theres not much info on the web explaining how to set up the Azbox HD for cable (mostly its all about satellite) so I had to play about in order to figure out how to set the Azbox up for cable in the UK. I've put together a quick 'How To' explaining how to set up mgcamd.

Lets start by assuming that you have your Azbox setup (i.e. you have a working net connection and your DVB-C card installed and channels tuned in)

*Setting up OpenXCS - next we need to install the OpenXCS plugin. There is a lot of info on here and other forums about setting up plugin servers so i wont go in to too much detail. Once you have your servers set up then go to the plugins menu-->press red to add plugin-->select a server-->select OpenXCS

*Installing mgcamd - theres 2 ways to install mgcamd 1) by using your remote by downloading from a server or 2) manually ftp to /EMU/OpenXCAS/mgcamd or /PLUGIN/OpenXCAS/mgcamd. If you want Autoroll when theres a keychange then we need to install an edited version of mcgamd with autoroll. You can find this on the net if you look hard enough (its called Redbulls mgcamd, if you cant find it then a standard mcgcamd will work but you will have to manually change keys when they roll). Once installed you need CHMOD all the files in /EMU/OpenXCAS/mgcamd or /PLUGIN/OpenXCAS/mgcamd to 755

*Setting up mgcamd - finally we need to set up the mgcamd file. It may be best to manually enter the keys first of all. This is done in the 'softcam.key file that you have just copied over. Open the file, scroll down until you find the section called 'Nagra' and there you will find ex CW and N*L. You need to change the NetID as it is incorrect (there is no T*lepest there so you will need to amend one of the existing lines). Enter in the most up to date keys and save-->to to the plugins menu-->select OpenXCS-->select activation & priority setting-->highlight mgcamd and press ok to start(there shold be NO # symbol prefix)-->restart the azbox and all being well you should now have access to the channels

**There's some info in here e.g. setting up servers, that if you dont know what that means may involve some goggling - I would've explained here but far too much extra info)**

satsid this one the credit goes to kinkdink on another forum

Install new dvb-c tuner in slot 2 ( will not work in slot 1 )

                          Reset to factory settings

                          Format application area

                          Install firmware 3501

Set scan settings in settings, TV channels, tuner B to :-

                          STANDARD
                          MANUAL
                          NIT
                          163000
                          6887
                          64
                          A/C

If 163000 mhz dont work, scroll through the transponders and pick one with good signal and quality.

                          Good luck

                            Hi Satsid
                            This might help!!!!!

Do a fresh install with usb stick ect......plenty of info on this
Tuner will only work on B??? set reciever to as follows

                            Standard
                            Manual
                            NT
E?????(find the freq that matches yours tick left of it also may need to edit this)
freq (corect one for your area)most important
symbol rate?????depends again on area may need to edit this ex smellywesk 6952 ect?????????
                            QAM = 64
                            A/C

if all above correct should have strong signal and quality strength if not check antenna cable ect..............

to edit any of the above use remote scroll to the nearest E channel that matches your frequencies tick left in box then scroll down click on freq and change using remote del/ buttons ect and ok it same for symbol rate must match your area or no go!!!!!!!!!!
PM me if any probs town you live in ect>>>>>>

Hope this helps M8 let me know
