switching from sat to cable

hi all, always used a sat box in the past but family member moved and has cable only ( talk talk ) - does the cable box work the same way ( plug in get sub and away you go )

you need virgin media

unless mistaken only Virgin Media supplys Cable TV services and the likes of Talk Talk do phone/broadband/tv through freeview and internet tv service
