These boxes should definitely work in your area and a HD receiver should pay for itself if you bought one now

Is it worth buying a new box now with the Nagra3 stuff. How long will it work for? And will there be fixes once N3 takes affect?

we cant say how long it will take before N3 takes affect but yes worth buying
