Thinking of getting a cable box dont know where to start!

hi i have a skybox v5s and thinking of getting a cable box ( live in vm area) do i have to get a tv package off virgin then install box? Thanks in advance!!

you would need a vm connection of some sort.router or tv connection

Do you already have a cable connection to your property? If so, you might be lucky & find that it's still connected to the green cabinet.

I left VM years ago, but still have a connection...for now.

If you are not already wired up, then, as baldybear says, you will need to subscribe to a TV or broadband service to get connected.
