Help with recording on Digivox xl usb please.

Hi i'm new to this site and wondered if anyone could help, i've got a digivox xl usb box with a 4gb usb stick, i'm wanting to record on it but having lost the user manual i really don't know how to do this, can anyone help me on this please??
