    Hi mate
open box, and pull off the red pin,
give it a minute or two, then replace
the red pin, now power up the box whilst
holding in the up button and the down button,
the box will read , pace, boot etc, then diag,
now leave go of the buttons, you are in the
engineers menu, redo the freq and pin number,
when this is done, reboot, the box will still stick
on tune, now this is where your patience comes
in to play, you leave the box with tune on the display
and it could take a couple of hours, so maybe best to do this before you go to bed, and when you wake up, it should be
back up and running, without sticking in tune.

PS: If the tuner is nackered of course this wont work .
    best of luck matey.

this will only work if you are in a pure area (ie if not the net id wont auto set) , you say its got a new tunner do you mean the cim where the feed goes in take a look at the pl15 inside the cim (thats the bit where the feed screws into ) you may have to resolder it" ps what box is it
if i helped hit the thanks btn

Didn't work for me. Left it overnight too. I'm in a Pure area.

Do you think changing the whole silver tuner unit will work?

            cheers
