Hi everyone. I'm new to the world of sattelite receivers but recently bought a Zgemma Star LC with vix software and bcm7552 chipset? It's a great piece of kit but I would like to know how it works with a plan to update or resolve any software issues in the future.
My first aim is to get it hooked up to a hard drive but I'm not sure which would be suitable. Is it just a case of buying a hard drive with an external power source and plugging it in? I believe my box is a single tuner receiving the signal through cable.
Any pointers towards tutorials regarding this or other advice would be appreciated.
