at some point yes i have heard that aswell,but on a cable feed i think not as it has a way of powering on aerial with voltage.

it means it has a terrestrial tuner in it and not a catv or sat tuner.. the T tuner can be used for picking up signal from a roof antennae like freeview. In some parts of the world and some parts of Eire the catv is transmitted via mmds and received by this roof antennae and not via a cable to the house as in the UK. I hope that makes sense..
