Starview 5 or Eurovox EX1100?

Hi All,

Finally got VM digital cable TV installed in our area and should be connected by the end of next week.

It's just a quick question for all the experts out there for a little advice.

Which box should I get Starview 5 or Eurovox EX1100????

From reading the threads on the forum I have started to sway towards the SV5 as the EX1100 seems to have a few EPG issues.

If anyone thinks I shouldn't go for the SV5 I'd like to hear why not.

Would be grateful for any response provided.

i dont know much about the eurovox's but Ive never had much bother with my starview,i currently have the starview 4 and it works great. but my brother did get the starview 5 and he says the EPG has to download once a day which takes roughly 2 mins, not that big a deal but its annoying.

Im hoping to get the Starview HD soon, heard some good things about this box but its twice the price ?200 approx. alot of talk about nagra3 coming to vm soon so u gotta weigh it up,is it worth the ?200?it does have the ability to cs on sat tuner so it has a back up.

I did think about the starview HD but gonna wait for a few more HD boxes to come onto the market and see what happens once or if N3 lands.

Done some reading on the two boxes and ex1100 seems to have too many issues, so I'll probably go for the SV5
