Samsung smt-2110c stanby problem :(

hi wondered if someone can help have a samsung smt-2110c box, problem is when you switch it on its been slowly taken longer and longer to come on from stanby, now its stuck on stanby for 1 or 2 before the stanby light goes to green and loads the channels ? any ideas

hi its got a seperate power supply inside just change it if you can

thanks for the reply? you think its the power supply thats causing it to stay on standby for so long? takes at least 2 hours now before it turns on , once its on its fine

after abit of searching on google a found out to check the 6 big capacitors on the board for signs of leaking or bulging and wright enough 4 of them are well knackered ,wright enough if the capacitors are knackered they wont be able to pass the charge on to turn it from stanby ,so off to maplins tomorrow get another 6 there only 40p
