Advice needed on which cable box to buy

I'm looking to buy a cable box with enigma 2 for bro in law's bedroom, there's quite some out there including dual tuners (sat+cable), however I want cable only. I'm not sure on which one to buy but max budget is ?120 and the best single & twin tuner for that amount thanks.

Single - Edision OS Mini

Dual - Harder to find in that price bracket, Vu Uno 4K with Dual DVB-C/T/T2 FBC tuner will give you 8 tuners from one box

Is Cryptobox 650HD any good? It's cable only. How about a hybrid, which one would be the best in that proce range now I have to consider buying one *rolling eyes*

I have gone for a freesat v8 golden for my dad its not enigma 2 though, ill let you know how I get on when it arrives.

I'm only looking for enigma as I've got a solo2, had a f3 and v8s, both were shit

Stay away from the freesat v8 golden if you have a SH 3.its not compatible.

No Problems at all that i have seen, although i use my SH3 in Modem only mode and use a 3rd party router

thinking of going with the edision os mini box thru cable, but finding it difficult to find any info on setting it up wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction. Had a skybox f3 previously which was pretty straight forward to setup

Zgemma H2H 83 quid and does th job great. Just leave the Sky tuner empty. If you want to spend the 100 quid go for the Zgemma H5 2tc ?110 this is a dual tuner Cable box.

All Guides relating to Dreambox Linux Enigma2 apply to all Linux receivers which the Edision OS Mini is part of the family, have a gander through the dreambox section this will steer you in the right direction.

Its basically a stripped down Zgemma H1 receiver that had both Satellite & Cable tuners, Slow box compared to the newer Zgemma's but still perfectly adequate

The H2H I less than 20 quid more so is it worth paying the extra?
