Rusty at all this. Basic cable setup

Can any body point me in the right direction. I have a cheap amiko HD8140 T2/C
I have a live cable feed. (I put my old virmin super hub back on the line logged in and checked the freqs and all were locked. so there is a signal there. I am in WIgan 40967 (preston1) freq 595.0, Symbol rate 6952,modulation Qam64 Network Id 40967 LCN is On. the problem is when I scan it shows no channels at all. has any of the above info changed on the network.

Modulation is wrong mate .
Needs to be changed to. QAM256 (modulation="5")
It will scan then .....................Paul
