    New VM Cable receiver

    Hi folks,

I would like to general advice, please.

Currently, I have a ZGamma 2S and this has steady good until the recent Sly issue. Yes, its slow and glitchy but for the cost who can complain. However I think its now time to move over to VM (Cable) and get a better receiver. Yes I know the cost is more for the Lines but at least I will get everything even HD and 4K if im not mistaken.

The question is which receiver to go for. The budget would be about ?200 for the new box so open to suggestions and reasons if possible. I would like something that you can skin up to match either Sly or VM interfaces also.

If the additional plugins are available also on these boxes then that would be a bonus: Plex, Kodi and IPTV.

Any help or suggestions are welcome.

    Thanks.

Just for information we dont talk about or offer help with 'Lines' C/S is a banned subject on this forum a re-read of the forum rules will help you with that aspect.

I will try and help best i can within Forum Rules.

    1. You will not get any premium 4K channels on any Cable or satellite full stop apart from the FTA ones on Satellite which are generally shopping channels.

    2. your Zgemma 2S is perfectly capable of adding a 3rd tuner in the form of a USB DVB-C/T tuner around ?55. this will provide you with the cable channels.

    3. Your receiver is also quite capable of running IPTV as well if you so wish

    4. if you want to run Full Kodi and Plex then your going to need a better Box anyway

    Regards
