Guys I have had my cuberevo/Ipbox 9000 for nearly a year now running good with two dvb-s2 tuners.
Now thought I would have a change and get a dvb-c tuner so I could lose my "good cable" box and have just one receiver.
I have installed dvb-c tuner and it is seen in the menu but when I scan nothing is found.
I have tried everything but nothing will work, now I have help for the last couple of days by a member on here but still drawn a blank.
I have tried E2 images and dgs station images but it makes no difference.
Now I have been thinking back in July I subbed for another box for daughters bedroom and when engineer came he said he had to fit something in to the white box in the livingroom that had be done with all new jobs and no it was not a splitter.
Make me think if that something is stopping non official receivers from scanning.
Now I could be looking far to deep and geeting a bit carried away but I am at total lost as to why the dvb-c tuner can not pick up a single channel.
If anyone has a cable.xml file for the Wigan area ex TW I could try that would be great.

Update I have just removed white cover from box in living room and its only a isolated system outlet that has been fitted,
Just had another go with ipbox connected directly to feed with no splitter and no system outlets connected but still nothing.
