sky is a much better service but i will still use my virgin HD box for fta and on demand programs i pay minimum subs tv with HD (basically bbc) talk anytime phone and 20mb for ?40 per month which is a fair price

all paid stuff will be watched on satellite i will just replace the cable tuner in my 7025 but tbh apart from football most stuff i watch anyways is fta

When it comes to TV, neither do i use sky, VM or BT. lmao

Good idea to run a poll. I would have thought that most people would go to s*y as I think they offer a better TV package.
It looks like alot of guys like Me are just in it for the challenge and dont watch much of TV anyway.
Free TV is great whie it lasts.

Nag3 poll

Sly are wunch of Bankers who screw everybody in the UK for as much money as they possibly can. Everybody else in Europe can get satellite TV for peanuts by comparision to the UK. No live Footie at 3 pm Saturday thanks to EPL but if you can get any one of 30 channels on 5 satellites, then you can watch up to 5 EPL matches and 1 SPL match live on Saturday & Sunday! Sly are gonna be well and truly shafted in the next couple of years when broadband TV, CS, digiTV, Aljaz, ART and the rest get serious. Of course the lemmings will always continue to subscribe to a crap service and 20 minute of commercials every hour regardless. The EPL and SPL should contract their own TV companies to televise & broadcast their matches and then sell it to Sly and the rest of the world. TV should be free or affordable to all persons, young or old, rich or poor wherever you live.

got the basic package with vm its going,allready trying cs on sat so many channels inc s*y hd for less than i pay vm only watch footie ,and i can choose which game i watch see ya vermin

Sorry about the rant DC
If you look at the full package cost of Sly + HD + multiroom + the TV licence at ?142 I make that ?964 per year and still no 3pm footie. Value for money? Not much!

i agree its not value for money at all, they should let you choose inividual channels and charge for them.. then you pay for what you want

I will continue with Richard, 10gb BB, Phone line, M package tv for ?30 per month. I also have a motorised SAT system, waiting to see what the D2 cam opens before i decide to buy.

i pay for the virgin xl package and i also have
a box with a fun6 card and i have seen a
tested file for the funcard once the s/w changes
from 3.6 to 3.7,so i will stay with virgin,and i'm
also now out of contract with my broadband
provider and considdering useing there broadband
services as i keep reading that it's good,
