Hi People, the Dog here, once again, now im looking for some advice on this nag3 situation.Basically i know its going to come to an end, and i can only afford the basic tv package now( which i have payed for years). Any chance someone can point me in the right direction of n alternative to my setup now which is a KryptView cable receiver. I watch movies, sci-fi and nature programs, if that helps. I hear alot of people are going to satalite, but i know nothing about that kinda gear/stuff. Can someone please adivse, many thanks.....

Just reading what you mainly watch and a satellite would prob suit you very well, there are lots of movie, doc ect on the european side of things, which would be possible through a method not discuseed here, you would be looking at a dreambox + Motorised Satellite system, not to expensive overall maybe ?215ish,

Oh right, ok, nice one. I do have a box in each bedroom, im using splitters of course. I didnt know that this subject wasnt to be dicussed though on here, so sorry bout that.Lets hope someone pm's me so i can look into it more, obviously only for educational purposes. Anyone any idea how much does an installer charge for hanging a motorised dish these days I ask as I did my own sometime ago.Comment

Usually its around ?120 for a motorised isntallation however varies by area.

Yeh that price is about the average installation if providing your own equipment, sat installers will usually charge you more for equipment that if you by yourself so bare that in mind.
I seen adverts for ?495 for Sat system installed, and to think you can buy the same system for ?215 so shows how much some are charging eh.
