    Nagra 3....Bummer......Advice?

With the new rollout of Nargra 3 I have lost all my channels on my starview 4 box which was to be expected. Before I commit to buying in a provider and paying a monthly bill is there anything out there that works that I could put in place of my starview box?

I also have a sky dish on the side of the house thats not wired into anything

    Any advice would be appreciated

Sounds good, any extra channels would go down a treat about now and if they are free im always up for giving it a go.

Ive seen the satellite forum on here will that have all the information in I need?

I know, on technomates such as TM-1500 there was software created to use the RS232 port to connect to sharing software on the computer, maybe this will becom avaibalbe for eurovox/starview ect.

i think darkman wrote a patch for the 1500 and the 1000 tech but was never any good due to the speed of using the rs232 i think it was sssp patch

Yeah it was SSSP, it was okay on the Huma 5400 series however, on the technomate it was okay apart from on sky.
